The 4 common characteristics of successful people & how you can steal them!
I cannot even tell you the countless amount of hours I’ve spent studying successful people that I look up to, and think “WOW! How do they do it? What is their routine, how did they start, what do they eat for breakfast” and most importantly, “What does She know, that I don’t!”
Yup, all of that.
And I also can’t tell you the number of videos, articles, interviews, books, podcasts, that I’ve absorbed on the people I admire, trying to get any glimpse behind the psyche of their success.
Now, let me give you a bit of background about me, I have a very analytical brain. I always want to know the mechanics of everything, how things work, the engineering, the behind the scenes secrets. I find processes absolutely fascinating.
So as I’m doing my regular stalking, umm I mean research, on my latest admiree, I’m noticing distinct patterns and the same words popping up.
There is no coincides or luck, there are definite traits, that are totally adaptable by anyone, that define their success.
I’m gonna tell you what I’ve discovered and how you can adapt these mental traits too.
- Confidence (or the appearance of confidence)
One thing for sure that stood out like an eggplant in a text message was confidence. Although most of these people all stated that confidence was difficult for them, and they don’t always feel confident, they all learned the techniques to conquering fear.
2. Ambition
They dream big and go after those big dreams and goals. Despite what the nay-sayers think about it. They look at the big picture, their desired end result, and plan their steps to make it there.
3. Focus
They know that where their attention goes, energy flows, and they are able to navigate around distractions as they arise. Roads blocks happen! And tweaking your plans along the way is a good thing. But one thing all of these people had in common, was even when the journey got tough, and things looked bleak, they still believed in their vision.
4. Optimism
When the odds are stacked against them; when things aren’t going the way they planned; when they are told “No”, and when they feel defeated.
They are able to look at things from a positive angle. They look at rejection as redirection.
I’m sure you all know people like this, who always seem positive, even when the going gets tough, and think “how do they do that?”
Let me tell you, this goes way deeper than morning routines, It is a mental psychology that they have consciously adapted to. And so can you!
Don’t forget yo subscribe before you go, because over my next few blog posts, I’m going to go deeper into the psyche of success and show you how you can master each one.
